Illness?

My daughter just came down a fever of 101.7 and is slightly congested; she has no other symptoms so far. She was fine all day and then BAM this happened. We gave her some Motrin; she's 14 months. 
Given that this is (crosses fingers) is her only two symptoms right now, what could it be?

My baby had cold symptoms (runny nose) for 3 days. Then she spiked a fever of 103. Turned out to be roseola. NBD ... babies get sick. Keep your eye on it

My son had the same thing a couple weeks ago and he's the same age. The fever lasted for four and a half days and I would have taken him to the doctor the next day, but the fever broke. The doctor told me that 3 days of a fever below 103 is not unusual.

My sons had an ear infection, roseola, and coxsackie with only fever being a symptom. Best to get it checked out because you just don’t know.

So hard to tell with so few symptoms . Usually it is just a virus of some sort
