Spent Thursday at my in-laws for Thanksgiving so I wasn’t able to test or have sex.

Did you get a positive test? If you aren't in your surge it's possible to have light ones and blank ones everyday of your cycle. If you are surging then it would be as dark or darker than the control.

Yep. LH builds and then you ovulate and then it drops off.
