High blood pressure?

At what point will they induce you due to high blood pressure?

Yes, depends on how far along you are as well! They may put you on bed rest if you’re too early. I didn’t start getting higher readings until I was 35 weeks so I only had a couple weeks of higher readings and going in to be put on the nst machine!

Well I had high blood pressure from the time I was 20 weeks until I gave birth. They watched it at my appointments and I went more often to the Doctor due to it. They ran tests on my urine to make sure there was no protein in it (preeclampsia) and I never had it thank god. But I made it to 37 weeks until my doctor said I had gestational hypertension and he induced me then! Had my baby boy at 37 weeks and 2 days. 😊 good luck Momma!

I got a reading of 160/92 when I was 37 weeks and they had me go to the hospital for monitoring. They did a few more readings over 3-4 hours and my last reading was 178/101 when they decided to induce. I think my doctor said if the bottom number is over 90 they start to get more worried (for preeclampsia). I’m sure every doctor is a bit different though!
