Underweight?

Question

My doctor told me I was 20 pounds underweight for being 6 months pregnant. How can I gain weight ? Healthily. My ribs have never stuck out this far before.

eat more. have a slimfast shake right before bed. not replacing a meal or snack but just extra. drink it right before bed because if you drink it during the day it will make you feel full and you won't eat as much of your regular meals. that will give you 190 extra calories a day. drink a tall glass of whole milk(3 cups) that will give you approx 450 extra calories a day. with those 2 things you can easily add nearly 650 calories per day. most ppls ribs stick out like that when you lay down but since you can't see individual ribs it seems you still have a healthy fat layer over top of them but obviosuly your lower abdomen "should" be fuller for 6 months pregnant. i would atleast add those 2 things to your daily intake and it should help plus give you extra protein which is great for baby.

Put butter on your toast. Eat berries with half and half. Eat carbs for dinner.
