has your toddler started saying clear words yet? my toddler makes sounds but still not clear words. my son is 19 months.

My son says more than 100 and is saying sentences now. Best thing Is to sing to your kids. If you think about it what do you remember better songs or regular spoken words?

Yes my son says a lot of words. I’m very adamant about pointing to objects and telling him what they are as well as reading (which he seems to love) and singing.

My son will be 2 on April 7th and he is not saying many words. He was saying about 18 words but stop saying most of them recently. I’m getting a bit concerned so I have him scheduled for an evaluation for speech therapy. I also downloaded some apps to help him with numbers and words. There is an app that I love called Endless. yes, you may need to seek help from a head start program. talk to you pedi about the speech issues and they'll get you connected with an appropriate place where you can get an evaluation and speech therapy if they see a problem, usually free and they come to your house. ( for the evaluation you need to bring your child to their center).

My son talks a lot! He is finally putting multiple words together. Hes done everything pretty quickly though. All babies are very different!

Yes my son is not only speaking words but some short sentences like “where is she?” And “mommy down” “can I have” ... he says many words alone. His new favorites are “cool” “mine” “sissy”

Yup! Tons and tons. She has quite a few favorite words though. She's very verbal as of recently. She'll say "I want milk" "mommy no" to certain foods or dislikes and "where's kitty kitty" (after hiding her stuffed animal from us, she thinks it's a hoot) she also sings part of a trolls song by saying "everybody, whoa whoa whoa" and it's so cute 😭😭
They all go at their own pace. My daughter watches movies sometimes (obviously from the trolls bit) and she still uses a pacifier. Her vocabulary hasn't been effected by either. Sadly, she knows how to talk around her paci 😭😂 she's very obsessed, and it'll be gone by her second birthday (she's having a little brother soon though who will be using them. Figured it's not a good idea to take it away 😂)
She adds new words every so often, most of the time it catches us off guard. It's well over 60 words now.

My son is 19 months and only says about 4 words but he knows when I ask him to do things or say words he knows what they mean. I just think he doesn’t want to say them 😂 I was super worried but I just think some kids don’t have much to say because my son knows a lot of words he just doesn’t say them. But definitely bring it up with your pediatrician. I had a friend who’s son wasn’t talking and they did a hearing test and figured out he had fluid built up in his ears which we caused him to not hear well. Once he got that cleared up he learned a bunch of words and says them very clear!

My child won’t ever stop talking 😂 he talks gibberish a lot but has tons of words as well
