confused??

ok so my baby was born on september 16...but im a bit confused so she will be a month every 16 of the month right or di u count it by weeks 😕😕 im confused a bit many peoole tell me one way other another way what do u ladies go by

For the first month it goes by weeks after that it’s the day they were born. So my baby will be 3 months on the 8th even though she’ll be 13 weeks which is more than 3 months. But like another person said people who haven’t had kids wont understand 13 weeks so I stick to two and half months now.

If you look at it like you think of their birthday then you would count your baby as 1 year old on September 16 2018, no matter how many weeks that is, and I do the same for months. Looking At it that way you would count it as a month older on the 16 of every month, no matter how many weeks the baby is on that date. For example my daughter is 10 weeks old but turned 2 months old on Nov 15, I tell people when they ask that she’s 2 months old and I don’t bother with the weeks since it would probably just confuse people.

On the 16th of each month they are a month older. I usually round when speaking to people who haven't had babies "2 and a half months or almost 3 months". if they have had babies they understand weeks!

I say my baby is 11 weeks or 2 months and 16 days. Depends who I'm talking to.
