I'm leaving Eve and this is why...

I just had a notification for a post mocking a girl giving her opinion on being vegan and periods. I, myself do not eat animals or the byproducts and am horribly offended by the responses to this girl. I read what she had to say and understand that her information was a bit off, but the responses given by some users of eve (what is supposed to be an uplifting platform for woman all over the world) were straight up horrifying... Such as being thankful for "natural selection" killing someone so stupid off. Calling her an idiot due to the minute grammar mistakes, even though said girl's first language is clearly not English, which being a human being has taught me is not a fault, it is one of the beauties of living in such a colorful world. If we, as Americans, are going to be so closeminded and selfadoring as this, I am ashamed to call myself one. I am horrified by the joining of forces to tear down another human being, another WOMAN, in such a way! I doubt this message is making any sense in itself, but I am still completely blinded from being blindsided by so much hate in one place. Good luck on your future endeavors harboring such a lovely community of "class".
