Bowel movements before labor?

I’m 38+5 and I’ve struggled with constipation basically my whole pregnancy. Tonight out of nowhere I (TMI sorry) had a HUGE bowel movement (soft, not diarrhea) and have gone again twice in smaller amounts (all within a few hour span). Just curious if anyone else had this happen before going into labor. I’ve read your body knows and tries to clear out your system within 24-48 hours of going into labor, but curious to hear from women who actually had this happen and went into labor within a day or two.
