So I started the Depo Provera shot in September and when I went in they had told me I would have unusual spotting the first round of shots. I thought this was alright, since I assumed they meant a little spotting here and there. I had no spotting the first two weeks and was like "Alright, I could get used to this"

I then got my period, which was about two weeks later than I was expecting it to be, I bled for ten days and then I stopped for about 10-12 days, and then went right back to spotting and have been spotting since the second week of November. I do not enjoy this at all 😣

I don't know if I plan to try another shot or if I should look for an alternative method of birth control.

If I do not get another shot, what is a birth control you would recommend? I'd prefer not to take a pill because I am a very forgetful person and would never remember to take it on time, which would most likely result in a pregnancy.

What worked best for you and what were the side affects of taking them?
