i hate that my fiancé watches porn. He knows how I feel but continues to do it. He says that every man watches it and to get used to it. Do you guys think this is true? I want to be with someone who respects and values me enough to stop doing something that hurts me.

My husband doesn’t watch porn....anymore. He had a terrible habit of it when we first got together, we argued about it many times and still he continued to watch it, so about a year and a half into our marriage we realized that he needed help breaking this addiction so we cut his access to internet which stopped it abruptly. It was the ease of access that made it so hard for him to stop. Now a year later he doesn’t watch it and tells me that he has no desire to watch it. I still have a lot of trust issues but we’re working on them daily. It takes the right woman for a man to want to change.. if he’s telling you that you need to get over it then he don’t respect you and he’s probably not the man for you.
