Tips on crawling?

Anyone have tips on how to get baby to try and crawl? My 7 MO tries a little, but gets upset when she can’t.

We also stood her up and walked her around to get the right / left motion going, getting her legs stepping seemed to help her brain make the connection on how to move her knees.

Motivational objects. The mirror baby was what she’d really go for, she just had to talk to that baby!!!    I’d get on the floor with her and move her knees for her once she could get her arms stepping.  She likes her light up rolling monkey to try to chase and spent about a month doing the “ downward daisy” and sitting back down and onto all fours and repeat...  keep encouraging her every baby step and to get that baby over there!!

Keep letting her try! But it seems like she is motivated, just missing how to figure it out? 
What I did for my girl some she was a new born was to do cross body exercises with her. Crossing the opposite arm and leg over her body to make those connections in her brain. She has been crawling on the move since 6 months. And as soon as she had the strength to be on all four, she figured out how to move fairly quickly. So maybe try doing those exercises with her when she is on her back anyways? Like right after a diaper change.
