I am in a drama class at my school and I play Mary in it's a wonderful life. Basically, the guy who got the lead has an awkward history with me. I'll explain:

Over summer, we hung out a lot and went to see movies together as friends. I felt really close to him, but platonically. The last movie we'd see together, he asks me if I want something more. I politely decline his offer and ask to be friends. We agree, but he talking stops and so does everything else we had done during he school year. He and I actually agreed not to be friends on his request. So the auditions come up and I get the love interest, and it's awkward even being two feet near each other. Tech week starts next week and I am so nervous to even get close to him, let alone kiss him. We get the option of a fake kiss, which is what I'm pretty sure we're doing. But even then, how do I get somewhat comfortable near him where I could hug him and possibly kiss him?
