2 months is way to young to be starting foods, it will mess with babies tummy cause they aren’t ready for it yet at that point. I started my son on cereal at 4 months with his drs request but no other foods till he was almost 6 months which is the recommended time to let them start trying foods.

I read your title and was like what?!?! Since birth. 😂 But anyways...I started feeding my daughter baby food at 6 months as per the recommendation. If you feed any before that it can be harmful.Babies tummies at that age are only matured enough to digest liquids. Look up open gut. It's scary :( Now a little taste here and there won't hurt but large amounts definitely can be harmful at that age so please be careful not to give to much if you do choose to give it to your baby.

Also if you do feed her food please please please do NOT give her solid food. The chances of a baby choking is so high at that age. They have no teeth what so ever and aren't in complete control of their throat and mouth. My daughter choked on a tiny piece of paper when she was like a year old and I was the scariest I have ever been in my entire life. A babies throat at that age is the size of a straw. It takes barely anything for a baby that age to choke. I'm not trying to lecture or come off as a b***. I just want to pass on some information and food for thought :)

We EBF until about 10 months with both of our boys and then did baby led weaning where they would eat some purees and other items off of our plates.

I started giving my daughter solids at 6 month and would only give her pureed baby food. We started out with maybe 1 container a day, sometimes she'd eat all of it other times she wouldn't and we just worked our way up.

Some baby foods say 4months but I’m not a fan of baby foods from the store so I made my own, but all my buns started eating at 4months with the odd taste of things before that. Speak to your dr and get the pros and cons and advice on foods and make your own decision.
