What do you look for in a doctor/RE?

I have an appoint with an RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist) in January. This will be my first time meeting him and his staff. One of the most important things to me when choosing a doctor is that they listen and take the information that I give them into account. For an RE I think it is very important that they are staying up to date with the latest research because we are learning so much more every year. 

What do you look for when finding a doctor or RE?
