6 week old teething?

My son keeps drooling and chewing on his fingers and his tongue. And he has the tiniest fever. My mom said its because he’s teething, and I guess I had three teeth before I was 2 months, so she thinks hes gonna be like me. Anything I could do for him? He can’t really chew on any teething toys because he can’t even hold any toys

You could try a wet and cold clean washcloth or if you are breastfeeding, express some milk and freeze into little cubes. You can put the little cube in one of those fruit nets they make for babies. You can just hold onto it for him and let him suck on it. He’ll appreciate it tasting like mom as it melts.

is he miserable? my girlie loves it when I massage her gums when they ache; she thinks it's a game and I love her giggles:) But when that 'this really hurts' scream happens...infant Oragel is all that soothes her.
