Will you find out/Have you found out the gender?

Question

As someone who doesn’t want to find out the gender, I’m curious to see how many others have chosen to be surprised on their current or previous pregnancies.

My eight month old daughter was a surprise. I’ll never forget the moment she was born and my husband shouted it was a girl. I don’t think you’ll ever regret waiting to find out in the moment.

I found out with both of my pregnancies. The idea of not finding out stresses me out because you can’t prep as much in advance unless you want your baby wearing all gray and yellow (which, personally, I don’t 🤷‍♀️). If I already had one boy and one girl, then was pregnant with my third, I might be ok with being surprised because I already had all the stuff I needed.

With my son we found out as soon as I could. 
Since this one is going to be my last we might wait. I’m not sure yet.

I wanted to be surprised, but then I went to my cousin's baby shower and she was having a boy, and something switched in me and suddenly I wanted to know.

I was surprised for my first.
I didn’t know anything. Since I’m very anal about names and themes for baby stuff it was hard not to know.
I also couldn’t come up with a name I liked to save my life because I didn’t know what to plan for lol. For me it was hard. At birth I found out it was a boy and suddenly realized I hated all the names I thought I liked. So I saw a commercial for a character from my childhood and named him after the actor.
I’ve never done that since lol I was 18 then though. And now three pregnancies later I loved being the only person who knows the gender and then finding cute ways to tell daddy and the others.

I did find out for my first pregnancy. Now I think I’m going to wait. But I’m still unsure. I want a surprise but o don’t like not knowing things lol. Not that it matters that much, but it really helps me pick out a name.
