Ovulation tests

Tamika

When do you start testing if your ovulating after your period? My doctor said day 7 of after period up to day 10, but the GLOW app says different it’s a week and a half after finishing period.

I’ve been testing from the day I finished my period. The last time I didn’t test earlier and I don’t think I ovulated. I’d rather not miss the 12 hours that I may ovulate so this time I test daily. I got a faint line a few days ago so I tested 3 times that day to make sure it wasn’t an invalid test. Better to do it daily and not miss it.

The Clearblue are pretty pricey. I buy some cheaper ones from eBay. They’re about £5 for 30 tests. When you see something that looks to be positive. Then I take the Clearblue. Of course, if you feel more comfortable with Clearblue then go ahead with those. But I’ve been trying for 5 months and I would rack up a huge bill if I did CB

I agree! I use the clearblue advanced digital because I’m paranoid of missing my peak times. Thank you that’s exactly what I’m starting to do, test every day after my period.

I started testing about 5 days after. I’ve had my positive and still testing (got about 22 tests) Just to compare as i’ve not used them before and I heard they can be iffy for PCOS

One step they’re about 15p each from amazon (they come in multiples of 10)

Yes they can be iffy for PCOS people but I think that’s why it’s worth it to buy the digital ones I feel like they may be more accurate. This will be my second month using the digit ones so we shall see...fingers crossed. What brand of tests are you using?
