Which one came first for you? Water breaking and then contractions? Or contractions then water breaking?

It’s actually not very common, but my labour happened exactly like the movies lol. My water broke without any warning (luckily I was at home lol) and then contractions began straight away. Eleven hours later i had my baby girl in my arms (:

Only 15% of women have their water break. 
With my son my water broke and about an hour later I started getting contractions, which were close together and extremely painful. 
With my daughter I had a scheduled C-section but went into labor on my own with contractions.They started at 8pm and I had to wait until 7am the next morning to get my cesarean. However, the contractions weren't anywhere close to as painful with my son. I was offered medication through my iv but didn't need it at all.

My 1st baby the waters went 1st and my 2nd baby the contractions were 1st...each pregnancy is different.
