I wish the doctors would

So I'm 17 and went to see the doctor awhile ago because i had my period for three months and was bleeding everyday. i went and the doctor just told me its stress and they won't allow me to take birth control because I'm not having sex. she said it was probably due to stress and that was that but it keeps happening. so I'm going to go back and request birth control.
