2.5 of letrozole or more?

Should I ask for a higher dose this second round? I wasn’t monitored or anything and was told the wrong day for my blood draw the first time. I also have high prolactin levels... not too high though under 40. I’m going to call my endocrinologist tomorrow about medication to lower it but thought maybe I should get letrozole in a higher dose as well? Was going to see what you guys think?

I just did 7.5mg this cycle, started at 2.5 for 2 cycles then did 5mg for 2 cycles before moving to 7.5mg. I would maybe just do one more on 2.5mg.. I think sometimes it takes your body a cycle to start working.

You definitely should be monitored and can 100 percent ask for a higher dose to have a better response. You have to learn to be your own advocate in this process. Drs will often treat you like statistic if you allow it. Good luck!

Why aren’t they monitoring you? How do you know you responded to the 2.5? I started on 50mg of clomid, and my dose was never increased. Now I’m on let 2.5 for a 2nd round and my dose wasn’t increased. But I get a mid cycle ultrasound to see if I’m responding well and if my follicles are growing.
