How much formula for a 6 month old?

Hi mommas! I just switched from EBF to formula due to new meds I was put on. I’m completely new to this- my daughter nursed almost every hour during the day and we’re doing more bottles with smaller amounts to help easy her into not nursing all day. How many ounces should she eat a day? How long do you wait between feedings? She’s six months old. Thank you!

welp , at 6 months my son was eating every 6 to 7 hours but some days it changes , he wanted to eat every 5 hours . its all up to them , just pay attention to your babys body language . they'll tell you when their hungry

My 7 month old drinks four 6 oz bottles a day and her last one for bedtime is about 7 or a tad more depending on how she ate that day.

in addition to the first commenter's suggestion, I think that gradually increasing the amount of formula you offer while increasing the amount of time between feedings will be your best bet for finding a good balance. also, talking with your daughter's pediatrician could be a good resource.
