This is a long story but I’m a ftm and I hope is helpful for other woman on here ! I will be doing updates ! My baby is not born yet!! A lot of you ladies told me to keep you updated ! You all know i was afraid I was getting induced (getting induced due to GD, boarder line of cholestasis, and thyroid medication) inducing me at 38 weeks exactly! Okay well I’m about to start but before I do I just want to say thank you so much for the support and advice and sorry this is very long( if my spelling is bad sorry I’m currently at the hospital trying to keep eveyone updated since I think I’ll be here longer than expected!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Tuesday at 5:30pm I had my scheduled induction. We arrived on time and they had me wait till 7:30pm because there were too many inductions going on and short on nurses. I was very upset because I had rush things to make it there on time 😣 my fiancé and I decided to wait out in lobby till the time arrived .

Time finally arrived they took me in and gave me my room. Nurse was super nice and made small talks with me . I got to my room and it was time for her to check my cervix to see what method of inducing was going to work for me best. ! She did the swap(most painful thing I felt so far)! She told me I was only 1cm dilated!!! I was super sad because I was hoping I was more since I been having cramps and loosing a little of my mucus plug. But nope she told me it was going to be best to insert Cervidil(my cervix was still thick) had to have this for 12 hours and from there they will decide what’s next and how my cervix reacted to it.

That whole night couldn’t sleep bed was very uncomfortable and I just wanted things to progress like all this lucky ladies get to progress really quick!!! Well no!!!! I was very unlucky !!!! That whole night I only dilated the next morning at 8:50 am to 2 cm !!! It was not what I wanted! I didn’t want to get pitocin!!!!! 😭😭 but nope that same morning I only progressed that far ! Next was pitocin ! They waited a while before giving it to me , they had me take a walk and this is disturbing but they had a tube up my anus to get me to poop everything out ! I was in pain from the swap I was crying !! And now the anus !! I was super scared and sad !! I’m still currently at the hospital waiting for pitocin is 11:40 am( Tuesday) and I’m going to try to take a nap before they give it to me. I will keep you ladies updated !!! I’m really nervous and scared but more likely baby will arrive today !!!
