Hi mama's ... anyone here from Florida? Planning a trip to Miami in a couple of weeks and will be 11wks pregnant ... was curious if Zika is no longer and issue to Florida residents? Pls advise ..

Thank you all... CDC website also says it's no longer vika zone as of June 2017 but just wanted to make sure from people that are living there. Thanks again

I live in the middle of the state, a little south of Orlando and its not here at all. Can't speak for Miami, but my Dr said I was fine unless I leave the country.

I live in the Palm Beach area and no one's really mentioning it, not even my Dr. I'm 19 weeks with my 4th baby. They didn't test me or even give precautions.  If you're concerned you can wear loose fitting pants and a cardigan. I use fit organic bug repellent on my kids, you can also try that.
