Will my new obgyn do this

Question

I'm going to a new obgyn on the 11th. My period will be 3 days late by then. Do you think he will give me a blood test if I ask or do you think he will just do a line test? I'm new to this so I don't know 😕

OB will do a urine test & a blood test. At least at mine they do.

mine didn’t do blood work at all, just a urine test.

When I told my doctor I had already had a positive urine test, she just sent me straight for blood work.

Mine does both. But did you get a positive at home test? My dr asks....you should do one if you haven't already because the ones at the dr tend to show negative more than the ones from the pharmacy. They may not do a blood draw if you don't show a positive urine test.
