Okay ladies. I need some advice. So I am supposed to get my IUD tomorrow and of course my period is still not here. (I know I’m not pregnant - despite it being 8 days late 😪)

This is the third time I’ve attempted to get it, but no matter how regular my cycle is - everything gets out of whack right before the appointment.

My doc prescribed meds to help eg it along, but I’m less than optimistic.

I have all my PMS symptoms that happen right before I get my period, so I know it’s on it’s way.

All this being said, has anyone gotten an IUD while not on their period. I just want to get this over with because scheduling all these appointments with my work has been incredibly difficult.

Also - any pre appointment tips for those of you who got one - would be much appreciated :)
