I have my first gyno appointment tomorrow to get birth control. I’m 18, never used it before, but I have had sex and plan to continue having sex with my bf!

I’m thinking about the pill for now and switching over to a less frequent method within the next year! Any opinions?

Also, I’m pretty forgetful and my bf is in the army so when we do see each other there will be more time spent with clothes off then on... that said, I’d like for it to be a pretty reliable method

UPDATE: I got a prescription for the pill! I’m gonna do the pill for probably a year but as my bf and I get more serious (he mentioned a ring 😏 and PCSing to Italy) I will definitely change up the method
