Elective induction

So Monday was having contractions but never got 5min apart, still drove to hospital since I’m an hour away. Was still only 3cm 50% effaced so they sent me home.

Saw doctor Wednesday & was told I’m 4cm, they went a head and scheduled me for elective induction for this Monday.

Who’s done the elective induction? I was told I’m first on the list that I could get a call any time starting at 5am and have to drive in, but that there’s no guarantee I get in.
