When did you start introducing your baby to solid foods?

Usually it’s 6 months but I will go by what my childs pediatrician says tho. I was a preemie & I know that doesn’t mean nothing but when I was 6 months old, my doctor told my mom to wait until 7 months. Don’t exactly know why if it was because I was too small or just because I didn’t need it yet or that’s how my doctor was with every other child 🤷🏼‍♀️

6 months. Make sure baby meets the requirements for safety though. Able to sit unassisted and has lost the tongue-thrust reflex. Research open gut. 4 months is dated advice.

Between 4-6 months tho I waited til 6 months and he wanted nothing to do with it I kept trying but he would get sick off the food so I stopped even tho my doc said to keep trying o could not I mean could not watch my son throw up everything in his stomach every time I tried to feed him.  He would get so sick throwing up he couldn’t keep his head up!!!!  So I waited and tried again each month and eventually I gave up for a couple months as I wasn’t worried I knew he would eventually eat.  9 months came and he was eating cereal and purée and then started eating gradually from there :)

It depends on your child’s progress. If they can sit-up well w support then its ok. If they can’t then no food- why? Bc they can choke!!!! Make sure you start w level one foods-
Rice cereal w milk and single fruit and veggies no mixed food yet! 
Start w a few times a week. If you are breastfeeding food at 4-6 months is only for fun! Not needed!

3 1/2 months . my son was ready early and he started on Ella's kitchen baby puree and a baby porridge made from the same formula brand he was on . I know they say no earlier than 4 months but I was on solids from 3 months and did me no harm and my son is healthy and strong :-) I think over the years the rules keep getting changed when really they were ok as they were . you know when your child is ready 😃👍

Grand daughter wasn’t into puréed foods and I put rice or oatmeal cereal into her bottles 15 ml to a 5-6 oz bottle.  She was fuller with the “cereal bottles” as I called them and at 8/9 months she started pincher grasping everything so started baby puffs and Cheerios. 
At 10 months she’s eating mostly finger foods that are soft and still has bottles, but 4-5 oz now. 
Don’t rush the solids it’ll happen eventually.
