9 Weeks Pregnant and Blood?!!!

My obgyn is suppose to call me back but it has been 2 hours since I last called. I am really worried something is wrong. Is this normal or should I be worried? I went to the bathroom and wiped then saw this.

If it’s just that, it’s probably nothing serious. Go with your gut on ER vs waiting for your doc to call back. Usually something serious would involve a lot more blood, and bad cramps.
I had a bleed at 6 weeks (bright red, plenty more than that) and spotting twice since. Terrifying, but it was an implantation bleed. I’ve learned quotes a few things can cause a little blood (sex, straining too hard to poop, etc). It’s more common than we think.

This happened to me this morning! I went to the toilet and when I wiped there was blood like this, also a small clot. I am 8 weeks 3 days. I phoned the early pregnancy unit and they told me that it can happen, especially if your period is due (my period would have been due today). They told me to wear a pad and if it is the same or worse in a few days to phone back. I have worn a pad all day and there hasn’t been anything on it, just small amounts of blood when I wipe. I have had no pains or cramps. I am praying it is a breakthrough or implantation bleed. I’m seeing my midwife tomorrow, so I’ll talk it through with her. It is really difficult not to think the worst, sending lots of positive vibes your way, fingers crossed everything is okay!

Go to the ER and get checked. Everything could be fine, my friend is almost at her third trimester and bled and had a clot early on, but for peace of mind and more importantly to make sure that everything is okay just go to the ER.

Were you straining when you went to the bathroom? Sometimes when we push really hard it can irritate the cervix and cause some bleeding.

If you can't reach your doctor I would go to the ER if it doesn't stop soon. It might be nothing but red blood is new blood.
