Sleeping in the same room? Yes.
Bedsharing?  Absolutely not.
Please follow the recommendation for safe sleeping.
Baby is in their own space.  On their back.  No blankets or pillows or bumpers.  Only in an approved sleeping piece like a crib.
If you cannot afford this, please google babies need boxes in your area.  You will be given a beginners set to help you.  Baby sleeps in the box safely:)

I had both my babies in my bed. And obs sids  can be a problem but at the same time I haven’t had it happen to me and my friend never had her baby in her bed and it was in its own bassinet and it passed away from sids, at the end of the day you do what you need to do . If something happens I think it’s bound to happen anyway obviously it would be terrible but yeh. Just my opinion...

It’s easy to say that you won’t bed share with your baby, until you actually have the baby and you are losing sleep. I swore I would never do that. I was deathly afraid of it. My son is 7 months and I believe bed sharing is what got us through the newborn stage and going back to work. Now, I do believe it should be temporary because now it’s very difficult to crib train him. Plus I want my bed back. Bed sharing isn’t for everyone, but don’t knock it if you haven’t had to do it. I’ve judged so many women for doing it and now I’m a hypocrite because I do it nightly and have for 7 months. There’s a wrong and right way to bed share. Do your research and choose what’s best for you and your baby.

Do not sleep with your baby in the bed even if other mothers say they do... 
Don’t be the “monkey” who sees then do.
Get a bassinet that can be close to your bed... I’m getting the halo bassinet... even if I’m tired and my baby is more comfortable sleeping in my bed I will NOT let that be the case and give in. You have to get them use to sleeping in their own space next to you

Exactly what Alyssa said. My daughter sleeps in our room but never in our bed. I don’t care how much sleep you’re losing. Your child’s safety should always be yoyd #1 priority.
