Yesterday I finally had my prenatal appointment with my dr and to get results from my 19w ultrasound. Anyways I found out that my baby boy has a hole in his heart ☹️. My dr said it’s nothing to worry about and that after he is born he’ll have to have an echo. Now I don’t have anymore ultrasounds booked either as they only do them here at 12 and 20 weeks. Unless one later on is recommended. But when I go for my next prenatal I am definitely requesting for another ultrasound for later on in the pregnancy towards the end to see if the hole has closed. My dr said it’s nothing to worry about and that they usually close in the womb. I’m only 22 weeks. So approximately 18 weeks till my due date. Dr said that it’s very common during pregnancy. I’m 100% pretty sure with my first two pregnancies, they never had that. Have any of you mamas had this happen? Did the hole close during the rest of the pregnancy or did babe have to go for an echocardiogram and what happened next after that?
