TTC a girl!

I know there are different thoughts on things that work or don’t work with trying to conceive a certain sex, but! With TTC a girl I’ve read to have sex every day for a little while until 2.5-4 days before ovulation. So then do we do that & then not have sex until a few days after ovulation? Or...? But I don’t want to miss my chance to conceive at all this month, you know?? Though in that note, we had no problem getting pregnant with my son last year. Thoughts!
