US at 12 weeks, midwife said GIRL, but...

i had my last ultrasound done at 12 weeks. my midwife looked just for fun and saw nothing between the legs, so she guessed that it's a girl. she's going to confirm/check again at my next appointment in three weeks (i'll be 16 weeks)

BUT my question is: how likely is it that i'm really carrying a boy and his penis just wasn't developed/big enough to see at 12 weeks?

or am i actually carrying a girl and the fact that there wasn't any sign of a penis at 12 weeks is because it's a girl, not a boy?

(honestly i just want to know so bad and waiting is killing me 😂)
