I’m 38 weeks + 5 and on an additional growth scan I had a few days ago it showed that Bubba has gone from 6lbs 3oz to 8lbs 3oz in 2 weeks. Because of this they did a glucose test which showed I was 1 point over their limit, classing me as positive for gestational diabetes.

My concern is that the baby will be too big by the time I go into labour and I’ll have complications or end up having a c section (which is my absolute worse fear/nightmare).

I just wondered if anyone has had similar experiences? And if anyone’s Bubba has had a dramatic growth spurt but then calmed down etc?
