Sex after baby?

I just had my son on Saturday, December 9th so he is 6 days old. I had a very fast labor and delivery, 2 hours of hard labor and 30 minutes of pushing. I didn't have any tears and I was down to pre pregnancy weight before we left the hospital. I've had no pain and I stopped bleeding yesterday. I was just wondering if sex would be okay at this point because I'm no longer bleeding? how long did you wait to have sex after?

No no no. It is not just about feeling ok. There is an open wound inside your uterus where the placenta was. Having sex too soon can result in infection or hemorrhage. Absolutely NOTHING goes in your vagina until your doctor has cleared you. The 6 week rule is in place for a reason and its for your safety. That's not even mentioning how ultra fertile you are after giving birth.

No. Even though your vagina feels okay, your cervix needs to fully close and heal or you risk hemorrhaging and infection. That's why you can't even wear a tiny tampon for pp bleeding. You can do external stimulation, but nothing inside your vagina until your dr confirms you healed.

wait the recommended time.. its not about if you tear or not or how fast the labor was its a risk of infection and oyher complications and you should be protected because you are very fertile after child birth

They say not to because of infection. This is my 4th. I bleed for a week and had sex our first week of being pp. I'm now 5 weeks pp and have been having sex since. I haven't had any issues.

I didn't tear either we waited till 3.5 weeks and caved. It totally is going to feel loose because your baby just came out so just know that. My midwife almost didn't even check me at my 6 week apt. And asked if I already tried having sex she didn't care just asked if it hurt and I told her no. So it's up to you we were fine it just felt like there was more room for my husband 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

You should wait the 6 weeks, before then you could get pregnant again, and it's EXTREMELY painful. Lube lube lube. but it's not recommended because of infection and becoming pregnant again.

No no no don't do it, not worth it. Your body needs to heal and recover. Once your cleared by doctor at 6 weeks your fine. Even though you didn't tear, your SO can cause you to tear on the inside of your body.. risk of infection is high, just wait... better safe than sorry
