When is your first ultrasound scheduled for?

I just found out that I am pregnant (currently only 4 weeks) and I called in to my ob office to schedule my first prenatal appt. This is my first pregnancy so I’m not too sure what to expect but the scheduling lady said that they usually don’t do ultrasounds until 20 weeks. Is this normal?

I swear I hear people talking about getting ultrasounds around 10 weeks to check on baby and hear heartbeat. She said they will probably listen for heartbeat but no ultrasound. So confused! I was really looking forward to get an ultrasound photo of our little bean especially since it is our first.
