hot showers ok during pregnancy?

My showers average about 10 minutes, and it's not on the hottest setting but pretty close.

I took hot showers that lasted 10-20 mins. My husband wouldn't shower with me because he said he could cook a lobster with how hot my shower was lmao.
Baby came out perfectly fine!

As long as you don't feel light headed or start sweating really bad. I also like to drink a lot of water after as hot water can dehydrate you.

I take hot baths. I make sure Im not sweating & its not too hot for baby..I could go alot hotter thats how I like it but for babys sake I dont.

I couldn't because I'd dehydrate super fast and faint (worst 9 months of my life- I hate cold showers lol). But they're perfectly safe if they feel ok to you!

As long as it’s not dramatically changing your internal body temperature it’s okay. I take very hot showers which usually last about 45 minutes, my baby seems perfectly fine and my midwife and doctor have no concerns. As long as you’re not soaking in a steamy hot bath it shouldn’t be an issue. A hot shower isn’t enough to change your body temperature enough to cause any harm. Just make sure that if you start to feel dizzy or too hot you get out and give yourself time to cool down
