So I have what you can call an internet friend. We started chatting when I was in college, easily ten years. We’re both 30 now. He lives in London and I live in the Midwest. We’ve always been great friends and have frequently talked on messenger, Skype and phone. Its been an ebb and flow he and I in regards to our feelings for each other. But have always shared a connection despite never meeting. It came about earlier this summer that we were both single and finally decided it’s time. He bought a ticket to the US and we are going to share New Years together.

It’s all quite exciting and nerve inducing all at the same time. I’m so looking forward to meeting him and am hoping that we click in person as well as we do online. It seems so surreal that this is actually happening and I had to share my excitement!
