Nudity is feminism?
Mrs Pankhurst, the leader of the suffragette movement, was imprisoned numerous times trying to win women the right to vote. Her goal was to see women judged on our merits, not our looks, our abilities, not our faces, our work ethic, not our boobs.

In the 1960's, girls and women fought for the right to wear pants to school, work in certain careers reserved for men, and not to be put in highly sexualized uniforms meant to appeal to men in the workplace:

Until 1988, abortion was illegal. This was turned over by the Morgenthaller case when the court stated that the abortion laws were unconstitutional as they denied women the right to make decisions for our own bodies.
Rape still carries a shorter sentence than physical assault, with men serving more time for beating up the guy who slept with their girlfriend than they would for raping her sister.
So here's my rant/question. I see a LOT of posts these days where a woman/girl/whatever posts a picture of herself 80% or completely naked, and calls it feminism. "I'm super empowered!" ....and I feel like we're being duped. Someone, at some point, decided that "female empowerment" looks like....say....Jeri Ryan passing out in extreme pain and being hospitalized after being strapped into a crushing corset so her character would appeal to more MEN:

Maybe the director having to stop the camera every time Lynda Carter's boobs fell out of this thing, which was demure compared to the original uniform:

Or any other of a million examples of women only being allowed to be strong as long as it appeals sexually to men, because if catwoman worked out like Batman, hard enough to beat up batman, and therefore became the SIZE of batman, would anyone watch?

I can't really believe that, on any planet, using your body to make money by exploiting the vast financial gains provided by horny men who make more money than you because of inequalities in the workplace and feel okay with making comments about your body because your body matters more than your voice, is feminism.
It feels more like making an excuse. It feels more like "I want to make money posting naked pictures of myself but I'm going to use some words other girls like so they feel like they're not allowed to say anything about me.
But that's just my opinion. Funny that when I state my opinion people (usually fanboys of said mostly nude poster) act like I've just said she deserves to get raped/murdered for what she's wearing. I don't give a damn what she's wearing. But call a spade a spade. If you make money from men because you exploit your physical body, don't pretend what you're doing is an act of feminism.
It's kind of the opposite. Feminism, at its core, fights against the idea that women can only gain resources by looking sexy and making men horny, and that we have no other merits as human beings.
