My parents have never taken me seriously for some reason and it bothers me. Over the summer, I was in excruciating pain in my jaw and tooth and my mom didn’t believe me. This lasted for months. I kept telling her “mom, I think I need a root canal.” And she just kept saying “no you just have TMJ.” She didn’t believe me until I showed her this bump in my mouth next to my tooth. Finally, it got so bad that the whole left side of my face swelled up when I was at work, and she finally believed me. Then, this past week, my car wouldn’t start . So my dad went out and looked at it. He kept saying “it’s the battery”...I just got a new battery a few months ago. I knew it wasn’t the battery. Plus, a little symbol came on the dashboard that signifies that my coolant was low (I looked it up in the car manual). He didnt believe me and kept insisting that it was the battery until finally he looked at the battery’s date and saw that it was brand new. 🙄 I’m just so tired of this. I’m 22 years old! Just because I’m young doesn’t mean I don’t know what I’m doing!
