So how long did y'all stay in the hospital and when did you go back to work afterwards? I'm asking because I'm the only one working and I plan on going back at most a week after a and I've heard some women tell me that they were released 24 to 48 hours after birth or c section... not sure i believe that one, but i just want to know. i work in a call center so its not like I'll be hurting myself going back.

So maybe I should explain better so like 3 weeks ago on a Saturday I was going to induced because my check up from the day before was bad. I guess in 2 weeks time, I gained 13 lbs and the great majority of that was fluid. so they did a check on the baby and he was fine except for a 3 part testing on him. He got 6/8 because he was sleep so he failed "breathing" portion. which is just to check his chest movement. so if it everything wasn't better the next morning, then that was it. clearly everything was better. so i told my job about it and got fired. i go through a temp agency and started at 34 weeks. the email i sent my agency was misunderstood and luckily i had a dr note so it was fine. but i t take too leave because then i have to resign. the problem i have now is knowing if ill be able to get a note to return. the hr person and my agency rep are CLEARLY by textbook knowledge and doesn't believe anything possible before 6-8 weeks.
