Does your spouse always expect to know where you are/where you're going?

Question

I ask about with kids because we have a baby. But when I do go out (normally to just grab food for us, or maybe a store) he has to know. If I just say "to the store" or anything like that it's always 20 questions. I've always been faithful, no reason to suspect anything, and I don't interrogate him whenever he decides to head out. I'm guessing it's normal, just my hormones getting to the best of my reason.

My husband doesn't have to know but out of respect I always tell him. Communication is always key in any relationship!

I don’t see anything wrong with this, children or not. What if something were to happen & he doesn’t know where you’re at?

My fiancé doesn’t HAVE to know but I always choose to tell him. Just in case if something happens to me while i’m out he knows where I am. Other than that he doesn’t hound me about it. If I want to run out to get something to surprise him I just tell him i’ll be right back.

This is too much. My husband works and I stay home with out kids. if he's at work I hardly ever tell him where I'm going and he doesn't care. If we're both home I'll say I have to go to Walmart and he'll ask what for but that's the extent of it. Obviously you tel your partner where you're going out of respect but no need for 20 questions.

We exchange schedules and information. We share our general whereabouts. That’s primarily it. I wouldn’t put up with 20 questions. And TBH I’m 💯 annoyed when my husband details what he’s doing. Or detailing when he returns. Drives me nuts. I don’t care. 
My ex used to do that. He was attempting to control. Didn’t trust me bc he was untrustworthy. And quite frankly he was keeping tabs on me, bc he was up to no good. It was weird and awful.

We know where each other is always. It's out of respects for each other. we even downloaded a tracking app to both phones when I 2ws traveling for work and decided to keep it. It isn't an insecure thing it's a respect thing. he now travels for work. And if for some reason a phones gonna die we tell the other person before it dies, if we can we give another number or person to call incase they need to get a hold of us. we call or text before leaving for work, going to getting to leaving the store or work or a friends house. if we are seperate for night time we call before bed and when we wake up.

He just asks out of curiosity but I always tell him anyway because anything can happen. I even text him when I’m headed home from somewhere so he knows if it takes longer then somethings wrong

My SO always wants to know and vice versa. To us it's just a feeling of comfort to know in case anything were to ever happen.
