Is taking a “break” from SO ever a good idea?

If you feel like your marriage is falling apart and you don’t know if you love eachother anymore, is a break worth it?

You have to have a strong relationship to begin with and the both of you have to go into the break with the goal of improving yourselves in order to improve your relationship. If it's anything besides that, a break won't work.

As Sex and The City would say, “A break is a hop, skip away from a break up.” I agree with the comment of above mine that you would you have to take the break to be willing to improve yourselves. I personally don’t believe in breaks but for some people they work. There has to be a plan in place, though.

I would consider a break, but not the kind where you date other people. just a week or 2 without seeing eachother so you both can gather your thoughts
