My boyfriend doesnt want me to homeschool our child😓

so i always wanted to homeschool all my future kids.. our son is 1 years old. im staying at home for now but i don’t want to leave him and make him go to public school or even Private school. i have a fear of trusting people , trusting teachers, Trusting every one 😫 i rather homeschool but my boyfriend said “No that’s dumb.” hes a teacher also. And i’m a nurse. Im not intelligent but i will try to teach my kid a lot of things at home. Idk why he doesn’t want me to homeschool our kids like is it so bad ? Why are people against it?

idk what to do.. Im getting anxiety. He says i need to go to work and our kid will be at school and stuff. 😩 but that’s not what i want.
