Ok this is a little tricky. My daughters father has a one year old who came down with RSV. She has been sick for a week but when they took her to the doctor the first time for her fever they said it was an ear infection and sent them home with an antibiotic. My daughter who's 5 was there and around her just one day that week. Now their daughter is hospitalized for it. I know it's contagious but my question is could it have not been RSV last week and just developed in to it? Today my daughter has had diarrhea and thrown up once this morning out of the blue. I also have a 5 month old and I'm not sure if I should keep her away for a while?
