Who reads to their baby? if you do, what would you recommend?

Looking for some new books to read to my LO. He is 5 months old. we have these...

... and a few more. Just wondering what you read. Are there any more black and white books that are good? I prefer books that are hard so they don't get ruined when he plays with them.

I read her a story from the book “Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls”.  It has one page short stories about strong women that have accomplished big things.

Literally anything they're just sponges soaking up the words you speak to them. 
We read "baby books" "toddler books" and I read the Bible to my bubb here

I got a ton of books at my shower... so we just pick from the bunch. We have some of the regulars: Goodnight Moon, If you give a Mouse a cookie. And a Winnie the Pooh book... whatever is there we read.

My LO likes stories where I use different voices for characters...I Want My Hat Back,  the classics from Golden Books, Gerald the Giraffe...

Any of the cardboard books really, that have simple pictures or sensory touching stuff that goes along w the sorry. My LO is so into grabbing the book into my hand now, I can’t really read my paper books to him cause I don’t want him to get cut! I usually find books at my local library they sell used books for a quarter, I just clean them up and love it . I also give him his own soft books sometimes if he’s too touchy when I’m reading lol
