I think my MIL and FIL have picked stupid names for their grandparent names. They are both 3 syllables. I feel like that’s too much for any small child to say. I even struggle to pronounce them myself. Struggling to pronounce the names, and actually getting them out sounds absolutely ridiculous.

My SIL already has a child, Who they are trying to train to say these dumb names. She is struggling.

I don’t want to change them completely, but I’m certain I’m just going to go down to the first 2 syllables and always call them Pawpaw and grandma (shortened versions to the names they picked out).
