I have an 8 year old son that my husband is currently adopting. We’re pregnant with a girl and am due at the end of March. We have always said we want 3 total so at breakfast the other day, I asked how long he would want to wait. I suggested I wanted the girl to be around 2 at least. He then says why wait that long? He wants them back to back. I’m just over here like what?!?! Maybe he’ll change his mind once the baby arrives and he has to care for a newborn. I said we can’t do anything until he gets promoted at his job because we couldn’t afford 2 daycares at the same time. I think it would be very difficult having 2 in diapers at the same time. Is waiting till 2 that much better or is it in fact easier having them back to back?
