Period 2 weeks late, am I pregnant?

I’ve been off the depo shot for almost 5 months now and off the pill for about 2-3 months. Even after stopping the pill my period has continued regularly but now I am 13 days late. I also haven’t been feeling like myself. I’ve taken an at-home test and it’s come back negative 😩 have there been any situations where this may have happened and just need more time for a positive result?? I was hoping to surprise my husband for Christmas with this. I plan on seeing a doctor for a blood test but wanted to hear some input first. Are blood tests more accurate especially when its early?
