No fetal pole, just sac & yolk

Had an early scan due to pain it was a luteal cyst, my dates make me 6wks 3days but no fetal pole or heartbeat. I don’t go back until 2nd January which feels like forever and especially with it being Christmas. Has anyone else had this? Hcg was 2854 but they didn’t offer to retest? I don’t have any symptoms either :-(
